Crocodile Tears

I just finished the book Crocodile Tears by Anthony Horowitz. It was an outstanding book to read. I had to force myself to stop reading and go to bed at night. It is the eighth book in the Alex Rider series. Alex finds himself with MI6 again and this time he goes to Africa. There is action and suspense at every page. I recommend this book to anyone that read the other seven books.

Nightrise

Jamie has chosen to help Alicia out. He gets Danial from the prison when he escapes. He does not have to but he wants to help her out. I very much enjoyed this book. This is because it is very suspenseful and thrilling. Why does Jamie get transported back to another world? Because he has to take the place of another gatekeeper from that world who has died during battle.

Snakehead

I am enjoying this book. It is very thrilling and interesting. I would recommend it to a friend. A memorable moment in the book was when Jamie found out where Scott was because for most of the book he does not know where Scott is. This was the first time they had ever been separated and Jamie does not like it when Scott is not there with him. At some points of the book it is in Jamie's perspective and in some other parts of the book it is in Scott's perspective. The relationship between Jamie and Alicia at first he did not trust her, but then he became very close to her because they had a common goal of getting two people back from an evil corporation.

Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz

Alicia is minor character in the book. She is trying to help Jamie get away from the people that tried to kidnap him and who already kidnapped his brother. A sad moment was when Scott got kidnapped and Jamie got away and they are separated for the first time ever. My book is science fiction because it is about kids with psychic abilities who can read and control other peoples minds. I thin that Jamie will eventually find Scott because they can find each other through their minds. An important event is when the boys are about to get kidnapped. Scott, trying to protect his brother lets the people take him instead of Jamie getting kidnapped also.

David Copperfield

1. Ms. Betsey is a very mean and stuck up person.
2. Ms. Betsey supports Ms. Copperfield with her baby when she is certain it is a girl but when she finds out it is a boy she just takes off.
3. Peggotty is the Copperfield's servant she is important in helping Ms. Copperfield raise Davey because Mr. Copperfield is dead.
4. This book is historical fiction. This is because it takes place in around the 1500's.
5. I am enjoying the book but it is kind of hard to understand at certain times. I would not recommend this to a friend because the book is very hard.
6. The culture is that the servants are in a sense slaves in this book.

Snakehead

1. A conflict Alex Rider is facing is going on a mission for the ASIS so he can get to meet his dead fathers best friend.
2. I am similar to Alex Rider because we are both smart and clever
3. My book relates to the global issue of illegal immigrants getting smuggled into Australia
4. I enjoyed this book a lot. It had a lot of intense action and made you want to keep reading it. I would recommend this book to a friend only if he had read the first six books in the series.
5. One memorable moment in the book was when Alex met his old trainee from the SAS training camp. He missed him and it was special when Alex saw him again.
6. a climactic moment in the book was when Alex found out he would be working in a mission with his dead father's best friend. He realized he could ask him about his parents
7. I learned that people getting smuggled into countries have a horrible and brutal time making that happen

The adventures of Huckleberry Finn

1. Huckleberry Finn must get Jim ,a slave, back from a family that bought him because two con men sold Jim.
2.Jim is an important character, he is going down the Mississippi River alongside Huckleberry Finn.
3.I am different than Huckleberry Finn in the book because I am not from a bad family and am getting a good education
4.I enjoyed this book because it was wonderful. The writing is great. I would recommend this book to a friend
5.I learned back in the 1800's society was different. People owned slaves, their was no way to stop people from abusing their kids.
6.My book is Historical fiction because it takes place in the 1800's and it is adventure because the characters go on an adventure.
7.Huckleberry Finn goes after Jim to try to get him back in the book. I think I would have done the same thing because Huckleberry bonded with Jim and wanted him to be free
